Dr. Seuss week

We will have a few Dr. Seuss related learning activities the week of March 4th.
If your child has any "Suessish" attire, he/she can wear it on Tuesday March 5th.  (This is only first grade, not all-school.)

CHAPEL PRESENTATION

IF there is no school tomorrow (Wednesday), we will have chapel on Thursday from 8:45-9:15. 

Reminders for week of February 11, 2019

REMINDERS:

* Show and Tell Thursday for Group Yellow:  Makenzie, Sam, Bennett, Hayden, Miles M.

* Valentine Exchange Thursday.

* Quite a few library books still need to be returned.

*  Chapel led by first grade on February 20th (If your child is practicing a reading part, he/she is already bringing it home.  Send it back each day to use at school.)

NOTES AND NEWS FOR WEEK OF FEBRUARY 4, 2019

1. VALENTINE EXCHANGE on Thursday February 14th.  If your student would like to participate, he/she may bring a small valentine for each classmate.  Also, please make a bag, pouch, box etc.  for a valentine "mailbox".

2. We will be working on our chapel presentation for the 20th in class.  But if your child has a part to read, he/she should practice reading it once each night.  It does not need to be memorized, but DOES need to go home and come back each day. I will be assigning parts Tuesday or Wednesday this week.
